Compound class:
Synthetic organic
Comment: PBI-8192 is a MT2-selective agonist. It is a fluorogenic probe that comprises the NanoBRET 590 fluorophore (shown as a red star in the image presented here) joined to the C2 carbon of 4-azamelatonin via a short linker [1]. PBI-8192 can be used in NanoBRET proximity assays with melatonin receptors that are tagged for the HiBiT/LgBiT complementation reporter system.
Note that the SMILES is provided for the 4-azamelatonin-linker region of the ligand only, without the structure for the fluorophore. As such the physico-chemical properties are also generated for this partial chemical structure. ![]() Ligand Activity Visualisation ChartsThese are box plot that provide a unique visualisation, summarising all the activity data for a ligand taken from ChEMBL and GtoPdb across multiple targets and species. Click on a plot to see the median, interquartile range, low and high data points. A value of zero indicates that no data are available. A separate chart is created for each target, and where possible the algorithm tries to merge ChEMBL and GtoPdb targets by matching them on name and UniProt accession, for each available species. However, please note that inconsistency in naming of targets may lead to data for the same target being reported across multiple charts. ✖ |
